I get a call regarding a parcel in my name that it has illegal things. The automated call looked genuine and I was scared, but then my son told me that it is a scam and they will ask me for money.

Everyone please be careful with spam calls.

I got a spam call today from this number. The person knew my name and told me that he needs to pay an amount to my husband and my husband had asked him to make the payment on my number. I was aware of the spam and did not get fooled but want everyone to beware of this, so posting it in the group for everyone’s awareness.

I recently received a call from an unknown number. An automated voice, claiming to be from the telecom department, informed me that all phone numbers registered under my name would be blocked within two hours! Needless to say, this was a cause for concern. I realised this was a classic scare tactic used by scammers.  They prey on our fear of being disconnected and try to pressure us into making rash decisions. Reputable organisations wouldn't resort to automated threats. They would clearly explain the situation and provide a contact number for resolution and communication. I blocked the number immediately.
